Guess I can’t help myself. Anyone know the blog for Bloggers Anonymous?
Via Dan Gillmor comes this site by Larry Magid titled Blogsafety.com with links to topics such as “Blogging Rules for Teens,” “Teens Guide to Safe Blogging,” “Advice and Resources for Parents,” and “Advice and Resources for Teachers.” I haven’t had time to go through the links in detail, but since Dan is a trusted node on my network, and Larry is one on his, I just thought I’d link to it since I hadn’t seen it crop up anywhere else. Check out the accompanying blog too…
Why would you think you have any more willpower than the rest of us? I suppose blogging is still “new” to most of us, while you may be just fighting entrenched habits! Thanks for the links, they will be really useful as I make plans to introduce blogging to my 2006 class of Year 5/6 kids. Cheers!
Will,
Thanks for the mention of BlogSafety.com. Based on feedback from a blogger, I’ve changed the “Teens RULES” to “Safeblogging TIPS for Teens.” I do think Tips is a better choice of words.
Best,
Larry Magid
