John is doing yeoman’s filtering with all of his free time and I for one really appreciate it as I have no free time. Yesterday he posted a link to this nugget on Steve Gillmor’s blog:
We’re in a glorious moment of time, one where time stands still while we stretch our minds and play. And there are many players–all great, all young and old enough to know how special this is. I’m blessed to be part of this and so are you.
Now I know there are some (many?) who think I get over the top about the Read/Write Web at times, but this is exactly why I do. When I have the time, I get to participate in this great game where we’re all stretching and playing and, of course, learning. I’m a blogaholic. There. I said it. I’m addicted to the conversation. To the connection that I can have to the creativity of 20 million (or whatever the number is) minds. It’s special in more ways than I can articulate. I know there are curmudgeons who want to ground me in some less ebullient reality. But I can’t help myself.
