Pretty soon I’m not going to have to go anywhere else for my syndication/aggregation needs than Bloglines. Now they’ve added a feature where I can enter a search of just my subscriptions or of all the Weblogs in their database (upwards of 40,000 I’m guessing) and then subscribe to the results. Any time that search term shows up in a new post, it automatically gets sent to my aggregator. I know I can get that elsewhere, but what I can’t get is one click addition to my .opml.
Now, what’s a perfect Bloglines world? Doing the same for news feeds AND letting me get rid of my bookmarks by just clicking a box in the list. In the words of Bloglines creator Mark Fletcher, that would be “so cool, I could pop.”
