So I’m a little late to the party on this as well… Terry Freedman collected essays, interviews and narratives from a distinguished group of educators from around the world to create a nice work of contextual readings that will certainly help people get their brains around the Read/Write Web. Another shining example of “Web goodness” that is spearheading this movement. Make sure to download a copy for your chief school administrator…
Was unaware of Terry’s blog or article have now subscribed to blog and downloaded article. Thanks for the link.
Will,
Thx for that link.
I hope you might find time to take a look at how we’ve used podcasting, blogs, and all sorts of other web 2.0 tools to teach Mandarin Chinese. We work as a private business and we’ve had quite a response – almost 4 million downloads and a prominent position on the Yahoo list of world podcasts – see
http://www.podcasts.yahoo.com
I’m convinced that web 2.0 tools will play a huge role in education in the coming years. We hope top be at he forefront of that development, just as you have thus far!
Will,
New to blogging, this article a wonderful resource for me and the teachers and administrator at my school. Thanks very much.
Ken,
I just found Chinese Pod about a week ago and was very impressed. All I can say is I wish that there was a Korean Pod available for Korean learners. As it is, I struggle along with few audio resources.
EFL Geek,
Thx for that. I think sooner or later somone will use these kinds of tools to teach Korean – and other languages. In the meantime, good luck!
