Oxfordshire in England don’t (yet) count as one of the States of the Union but you might be interested in seeing “Sed Contra” which has ben put together by my colleague David Smith and is at http://www.sedcontra.com. It is built as a rolling magazine.

Oxfordshire in England doesn’t (yet) count as part of the Union – but you might appreciate http://www.sedcontra.com – a small site put together by some of our students under the guidance of David Smith.
We then push the RSS feeds into our school intranet

Will, I would like you to add Maryland to the map. Harford County, Maryland to be exact. Located in the Nort Eastern Suburbs of Baltimore, just up Rt. 95. After attending your presentation last summer in Seattle at NECC, I have been trying to integrate weblogs into our school’s instruction. I am also presenting to our County’s Primary and Secondary Technology Liaison Groups about ways of implementing weblogs into k-12 instruction. Just trying to spread the word.
So far at our school we have been experimenting w/ weblogs in grades 1, 2, 4, and 5 w/ different content. The kids seem to love the immediate publication onto the Internet and are eager for more. I have been working hard at improving the quality of their writing. For now I am excited w/ their enthusiasm over writing and reading online. If you have any suggestions at how to improve the quality of their writing I would appreciate it.

Just wanted to let you know we are running Manila in the Deer Valley Unified School District in Phoenix, Arizona and we have approximately 1200 teacher websites right now. Most don’t use it as a weblog more as a static information page with other features added. See our sites at http://myteacher.dvusd.com.
