eBNetworking

February 7, 2003 By Will Richardson

Just spent about and hour on the phone with Seb talking shop and thinking how nice it would be if we could get the strength of our network to push Userland into Manila-ed development. Sounds like despite Erin’s efforts at making site construction easier, he’s looking outward. Seb’s right when he wonders why some of those cool Radio tools like rss aggregation (among others) can’t be easily developed for Manila. (He did fill me in on some secret Module macro for Manila that could make templatizing include messages a lot easier. Hmmmm….) Anyway, if Dave is listening, we’re out here, we’re organizing, we’re getting stronger and bigger, and WE HAVE DEMANDS! (Please?)

And it looks like my plans to visit Pat early next month are firmed up. Heading out to the ASCD conference March 7-10. Hopefully, serious discussion about Manila and eBNvention and more will occur. If not, a few rounds at the local Web log cafe and a visit to MLK will suffice. But there is much to talk about…
