Will you become a further slave to technology? What ever happened to wanting more peace in your life?

At least you have the opportunity to get/use the iPhone. Cingular doesn’t operate in Alaska. We’ll have to wait until Apple decides to let another carrier in on it.
I don’t even generally use a cellphone, but the iPhone would likely change my habits.
Why such limited options? I think if you were going to stay with Verizon, the Blackberry is a nicer option than the Treo, partly because of the nice Gmail applet.
As for me, I am waiting for the iPhone with bated breath, but am going to wait until the initial frenzy is over. Remember, Verizon did say they were coming out with an iPhone killer, which I doubt, but it will be interesting to see what happens. I wouldn’t do anything until late August at the earliest, maybe even waiting until Christmas sales.
I don’t use the cell phone features I have. I’m holding out for an iPod with the music/video features from the iPhone but without the phone/PDA stuff.
However, we are Cingular/AT&T customers and my wife has been drooling over the iPhone since January. She has her money out ready to buy on the 29th and I expect to see an iPhone in the house by Independence Day. 🙂
I am also waiting for Apple to release the iPhone to another GSM provider before I will be able to purchase one, but I believe it will be the best smart-phone device out on the market. Go for it and let us know what you think!
I was upset to learn that the iPhone would only be released in the States on Cingular. But not to worry, the knock off iPhone is already available here in China. SIM Unlocked and ready for use on any network. Of course no guarantees 🙂
Don’t get an EnV. To use all the functions on it you basically have to have a plan that will cost you more than the Q’s plan. You really can’t email on it like it’s advertised. You have to have your home computer connected to the Internet running a sync program.
I have an incredibly old Verizon plan that gives me free text messages so I wanted a phone w/ a keyboard and the ability to run messengers. To use the camera I save to my card then email from a palm pilot.
I would love an iPhone right now I have 3 devices I carry around – Palm PDA, iPod and Cell Phone. It would be great to have just one.. but Cingular/AT&T does not cover the area where I live. I will just have to wait.

My Treo flat out DIED a month ago. I’m not replacing it. I’m just waiting for the iPhone. It’s KILLING me. 🙂

I can’t wait to not have to push any keys.
As I watch these new tools, I am becoming increasing impatient with using a mouse.
I want to be able to just tell the device what I want it to do, or move it with my hands, and not deal with clicking, dragging, pointing….
So, I am ALL for the iPhone.
Just have to wait until I can afford one!
How about the Helio? Anyone have one yet? What do you think?
I’m a diehard Verizon user, but I think I’ll even be willing to put up with Cingular’s customer “service” for an iPhone! Do it, Will, do it!
I am going to get one to try out for my administrators. They are thinking of a change, and why shouldn’t I get to be the test dummy for them? 😉
