MACUL Bound

March 9, 2006 By Will Richardson

Heading out to Grand Rapids later today to get ready for my presenting marathon tomorrow. Here’s the lineup:

  • A Shifting Notion of What it Means to Teach
  • Podcast, Vodcast, Screencast Nation
  • RSS: Connection Ideas and Knowledge
  • Blogs: The Next Generation

    It’s going to be a late night…

…but I’m not complaining. One of the interesting things that I’ve found about presenting is that it really demanding writing. I know it’s more like outlining ’cause I’m certainly not writing a script. And I really do like to frame these as conversations as much as possible, though that’s sometimes tough to accomplish in terms of time. But there are still a great deal of writerly decisions that go into it, the flow, the transitions, the punchy lead and hopefully memorable ending.

Well, um, don’t expect too much on the blog today…and if you happen to be at MACUL, please stop by and say hello.
