Has anyone seen or used this? Looks a bit over my head as usual.

    Will,

I have used the MetaData plug in and it really can add a lot of value to manila sites, it is kind of heady but John and a lot of others really support its use. For most things though, it is fairly easy. On of the ways that I use it the most is to transfer ownership of a page from one user to another. Also it has uses in creating catagoies for your messages to create topical outlines. For the most part it is a plugin that adds to a site in some subtile and powerful ways, it is worth digging into.

I’m positive the metadata feature has tons of applications and potential uses (like, wouldn’t metadata turn a weblog into a database so that one might keep a list of contacts that is searchable?) but just haven’t had the time to really dig into it….wish someone would offer an online tutorial…I feel the need to be walked through the early stages.

If you have a server that it is installed on let me know I’ll walk you through some simple steps.
