Maybe I was dreaming, but I seem to recall a few weeks back someone linking to a teacher who had set up a page in MySpace for a character his students were reading about (or something like that.) Ring any bells? Anyone?

The page you are looking for can be found at http://byrdmiddle.org/richard3/?p=9
This doesn’t ring any bells to me, but I have to say that this is a great idea!!!
Not quite myspace, but we’ve used the NML cantina in classrooms: http://www.lingualgamers.com/thesis#myspace
That is too worst. The students should be like students.
Could it be the Medieval Space?

teachers can make the classroom more lively by giving the students small projects in the class so that it wud enciurage group work among them and wud also activate their intrest more.

Interesting. I’d love to know what school allows myspace on their computers? Everything at our school is filtered. This makes simple blogging difficult. What is NML cantina?
By the way, I’ve just started my own blog under the direction of Will Richardson at Curriculum Camp – High School’s New Face Conference in Ellicottville, NY. My focus right now is using the blog for my creative writing class w/ 10-12th grade students. Check it out. I’d love to hear from you.
