Hi Will,
We had a great meeting today at the World Congress Center to prepare for NECC 2007 in Atlanta. We are planning a LOT of new options for this conference….Model Classrooms, Panel Discussions for Tech Solutions, Blogging Cafe, Open Source Applications, and much more.
We Georgians are SO determined to have an awesome NECC confernce in Atlanta in June!!!!
ISTE/Conference Committee will be at GaETC in November and we look forward to promoting Atlanta NECC 2007!
We look forward to seeing you at GaETC in November.
Best, Jerrie
Went to the NECC site last night to locate the opening date for the call for participation, and saw that it was today, but discovered it was already open last night.
My presentation description (Web 2.0-based, of course!) was the first one submitted, apparently 45-minutes after the database opened! (Oh, I am SO competitive, eh?) Not that the faster it gets submitted carries any more weight in the decision-making process, but I just love to be at the head of the line!
I am looking forward to attending NECC even if my presentation is not chosen. Plane and hotel reservations are already made. I love the Georgia EdTech crowd and know that the conference will be awesome! Thanks for reminding people about the Call for Participation date.
Hope another blogger hook-up is planned, Will!
