At my final English Department meeting ever this Monday, there’s going to be a Web log presentation to the thirty or so staff members. After a year and a half of experimenting, tweaking, creating, destroying, reflecting and rejoycing, the fruits of my efforts will finally get the stage.
Only I won’t be presenting. Instead, that honor will go to Tom who has taken Manila to heart in a very successful book discussion implementation, one of which you can see here.
In all seriousness, however, this is the way it should be. What better way of showing others the power of this stuff by having someone else doing it? Everyone knows I’m doing Web logs, but if Tom can do it and sees the value of it…
You know, when I buy a car, I never believe the dealer. But I do believe the people who drive it. I think we’ll be making some sales on Monday.
