August 6, 2006 By Will Richardson

If you’re not already convinced that things are much worse than they seem, do a search for DOPA at Google News and find about 15 articles written in the last few days (most of them in opposition, at least) and then do one for Paris Hilton. Will,

I think that this is an important angle — that we teach our children how to express their identities through our product advertisements and general media, that people are valued for sexual teasing. Then we are shocked, when as our kids learn from these examples, and then practice what they learn.

I’m afraid, though, that this double standard is lost on most of us.

What kind of response do you get to this argumentfrom your audiences?
