In the last week I’ve lost two sites to the error message that says “Sorry! There was an error: Can’t evaluate the expression because the name “department” hasn’t been defined.” I can get to the sites by typing in the URL of a subpage, but the homepages all come up with the error. And all of the departments when clicked, produce the same error. Ken experienced the same message but was unable to get a fix. I’m going to post to Newbies, but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Can you give out the url for the problematic sites?

Right away I am thinkging that maybe the Frontier server needs some Maintenance work.

Goblins start to appear without regular maintenance.
Still digging regarding error though
Not for the Frontier faint-of-heart, but hope this helps: From BAWP tech advisor Erin Clerico: ‘have seen it a few times. might have something to do with deleting a newsItem from within the Discuss windows. i would dive in to the actual root file via the console – open the site table – open the #discussionGroup table – Open the messages table – find the offending message by number – open it – add and entry to that table named ‘fldeleted’ and set its value to ‘true’ then set the ‘inresponseto’ value to ‘-2’ – should do the trick”‘
Yikes…translation anyone??? 😉 Thanks…
