Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach points to Vaestro which looks to be a pretty interesting new tool where you can hold asynchronous voice discussions about any topic you want. I just posted a quick starter about how we might use it in the classroom, and I’d love to hear what you think. Darren‘s already got a few discussions going, and I’m sure he’s probably been blogging about it (though, of course, if it’s been in the last couple of weeks, odds are good I haven’t read it.)
Not sure what I think about this as discussion as it’s always faster to read than to listen. But the idea of threaded voice conversations is intruiging, especially in the context of bringing in voices from around the world. If you have ideas, go ahead and leave a comment.
Hi Will,
Thanks for the blog mention of Vaestro. I just wanted to point out the link you have to Darren’s discussion isn’t the best to use. You should use http://vaestro.com/viewforum-119
(The technical reason for this…is complicated and we are working on it. But if you really want to know…the link you have only works once a user has established a persistent connection to our database on the site…)
