SplashCast: Channel Yourself Across the Web Annotated
- Quote: SplashCast enables anyone to create streaming media ‘channels’ that combine video, music, photos, narration, text and RSS feeds. These user-generated channels can be played and easily syndicated on any web site, blog, or social network page. When channel owners modify their channel, their content is automatically updated across all the web pages ‘tuned’ to that channel.
Note: Via George Siemens…another tool for presenations but with more sophistication, it appears.

Will, I’m so glad you got a chance to check out SplashCast! I’m the director of content there and meant to reach out to you in particular when we launched. Lots of education potential there, we believe – company execs all have a elearning backgrounds, in fact. Just this week we expanded our supported media types to include PPT and PDF.
You or your readers should feel free to drop me an email with any questions or feedback. Hope the service will prove useful to you.

Hi Will,
I have experimented with it and like the idea. I was easily able to embedd the channel to my district page. I believe it can change the way teacher home pages look and function.
Now if I could only get myself to spend teh money on a good mic.
