Webnote Weirdness (Con't)

October 20, 2004 By Will Richardson

So I notice in my Bloglines account that people have been posting Webnotes to my notes page, and I click on one of the links that someone left and see that a screen shot of one of my notes has been blogged here and that the author actually added her note to a different screen shot she got from here.

Hi, sorry. I found your page, and blogged it, but didn’t change any of your notes. But the tool itself seemed so cool, and such a blend of wiki, notes and blog, that I had fun playing with several pages including starting one myself. I didn’t mean to disturb your page, or send people there to disturb it. But I did find your work fascinating, and the collaborative ease of it amazing as well. Didn’t mean to upset you.

No, no, no…I’m not upset. I think it’s cool! Just in a strange sort of way… All of this takes some getting used to.

Recursive blogging? Sounds like you’re risking opening an n-dimensional wormhole…. ;-^
