Where is the nitty gritty? I’ve been following your weblog for a term and now want to get my feet wet with my students, but I can’t find the stuff that would make it easy for me to get started. Where are the sample permission forms, the basic explanations for parents and students, the sage words of advice on how to get started from those who have been doing it for a while?
I can find glimpses, such as Bud’s helpful wikki with it’s draft of student blog handbook, AUP and other things. Web searches, and the J.H.H. bloggers themselves bring up a few hints. Not even the Educational Bloggers Network has those types of resources anywhere I can find them. Is each teacher out there recreating the wheel? Why? Or is it somewhere pretty obvious and I’m just missing it? I didn’t especially expect it to be on this website, I just thought I’d be able to find it somewhere online.
